Matthew Szczerba is currently pursuing a master's degree in flight dynamics and controls for aerospace, with an expected graduation in December 2021. He has a strong academic background, having previously studied Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan for both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees.

His disciplines of interest include robotics and autonomy, dynamics and controls, modeling and simulation, space systems, and hardware design and test. Matthew Szczerba is particularly passionate about space exploration & research, space infrastructure for sustained presence, and in-situ resource utilization. He is enthusiastic about space vehicles and has a keen interest in advancing technology in this field.
