Is this the first Analyst article focusing on Legal AI Agents? Not sure, but it is worth a read. Nicola Shaver from LegalTechnology Hub provides an overview about the emerging landscape of Agents for law-firms/inhouse teams, focusing especially on => integrate and work in existing workflows (e.g. MS Office) => structure & plan work (go beyong just being a "chatbot") => provide proof/sources, check results and bring hallocinations down.

If you are working with US big law or EU customers, I would add: => focus on privacy, security and transparency.

I have a feeling that this is only the beginning. Link in comments.

Confession: I will NOT be at #ILTACON24. Cannot make it. BUT Team BRYTER can - catch up with them if you get a chance and ask them some tough questions:

  • What's with the BRYTER hot sauce?
  • What about new workflows in times of AI?
  • Do you have an AI Agent for doc review?
  • Will you join the ILTACON run?
  • Why is your session on the very last day?
  • What's with your beard, Max?
  • Can I take another hot sauce for my kids?

I have severe FOMO - still wish you a great couple of days!
