Hiring people you like leads to failure.

Take it from an Recruiting Expert like me. 👋

We are flawed humans who like to make emotional decisions based on feelings.

So, I coach clients to focus less on "feelings" and more on the process.

Here are the top things we do:

✔ Implement a top grading approach in hiring ✔ Build a recruiting process from the ground ✔ Train interviewers and hiring manager on how to interview

This methodical process ensures you hire only the best.

Key Takeaways:

✅ Top Grading: A systematic approach to hiring the top 10% of A Candidates.

✅ Deliverability over Likeability: Focus on candidates who can deliver not just talk.

✅ Invest in Training: Provide clear expectations and training to maximize your employee.

Implementing top grading and systematic recruiting process can greatly improve your hiring.

My first internship turned into a complete disappointment.

I was 19 years old and making money to pay for college.

I spent that summer interning for a major car rental company.

I thought they had a great mission and reputation so I consistently exceeded quota selling unnecessary insurance.

Half way through the internship, my Manager “volunteered” to enter my hard-earned sales into the system.

A few weeks later, I learned I wasn’t getting any credit for those sales.

My Manager had literally stolen my sales commission.

This opened my eyes.

I started realizing that the car insurance was ripping people off.

I vowed to never join an unethical company again.

And built my reputation and company, JumpSearch on integrity.

😍 Almost 100% of my business has been word of mouth. ⭐ We’re 5 stars on Glassdoor and Google. 💫 And I live my life free of guilt.

Have there been times when you felt like you weren't living your values?
