Mie Søndergaard is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in research and academia.

She holds a Master's degree in Medical Anthropology and Glocal Ethnography from Aarhus Universitet, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the same prestigious institution.

Mie also pursued a Bachelor's supplementary subject in Journalistic Communication from Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole, showcasing her multidisciplinary approach.

Her educational journey includes studying a Globalization programme with a focus on social science subjects at Viborg Gymnasium og HF.

Currently, Mie Søndergaard serves as a PHD Fellow at Syddansk Universitet, the University of Southern Denmark, where she is actively engaged in advanced academic research.

Her academic career includes roles as a Research Assistant at several reputable institutions, including The Danish Centre for Studies in Research and Research Policy, The Research Unit for General Practice in Copenhagen and Aarhus Universitet.
