Mike's academic background includes a Master of Arts (MA) in Gender Studies and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours, BAH) in Gender Studies, both from Queen's University. His educational journey has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of gender dynamics and social issues, which he leverages in his professional endeavors.
Throughout his career, Mike has held various roles that have shaped his expertise. He served as the Founder and Principal Consultant at The Empathy Institute, a Teaching Assistant at Queen's University, a Communications Specialist at Kingston Literacy & Skills, and a Content Manager at Aviio Digital. Additionally, he has gained experience as a Communications and Media Relations Intern, Staff Development and Support Coordinator, Rector, and in Educational Programming Development and Facilitation at Queen's University. Furthermore, his background includes roles as a Head Counselor/Instructor at National Tennis School/National Kids Camps.
