Missy Alexander is an accomplished professional with nearly 30 years of experience in examining the impact of communication technologies on higher education.

She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Media Ecology from NYU, where her dissertation focused on media and US presidents.

Missy has held various leadership roles in academia, including serving as the Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Western Connecticut State University.

Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to keeping students at the center of educational policy-making, pedagogy, and program development.

She has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Anthropology and a Master of Arts (MA) in Communication from City University of New York-Hunter College.

Missy's expertise lies in transforming learning environments to support excellent experiences for students and faculty, as well as in program assessment and development.
