#Throwback to one of my favourite moments in my #Fantastic career so far. Reading all the comments my colleagues had about me back then, gathered by our HR department, was an uncanny experience! Everyone who knows me is familiar with the long path I walked from a simple SEO trainee with no experience, to leading a team in the field of Digital PR and Online Marketing. It took many extra hours of learning and research, a ton of experiments and test campaigns, testing over 100 approaches to PR outreach, and single-handedly building over 50% of the company's links and publications for 2020. I literally gave it everything I've got. And while I had many doubts along the way, reading this feedback and knowing my colleagues appreciated me just as much as I appreciate them, makes me realise it was all worth it. My pledge to lead with openness and no fear is fulfilled. #leadership #goals Do you find yourself among the ones who left a comment for me? As I'm wrapping up the milestone of 3 years building and leading a team in the field of Digital PR, here are the 5 key takeaways I have from this amazing journey:

➡️ 1️⃣ Beginnings are hard. I still remember the anxiety, the fear of failure and the terrifying thought of not knowing what to expect. What if they don't like me? What if my ideas are not worth it? I know I can score a publication, but can I teach someone else to do it? Disclaimer: Turns out I can. If you give yourself enough time and chances, everything is possible. You just need to tell the annoying voice trying to put you back in your box "NO, WE ARE MOVING FORWARD".

➡️ 2️⃣ Having a good leader above you is pivotal. A true leader provides a clear vision for the future, a sense of security even in the most uncertain times, and is a person you can learn from. I have been blessed to work with such leaders over the years.

➡️ 3️⃣ Being a leader yourself requires immense patience. And I mean that in the best way possible. In those 3 years I worked with all types of people - analytical, creative, introverts, extroverts, jacks of all trades. I learned that everyone is different, but equally brilliant in their own way. And if you make the effort of finding the right way of communicating with each type, miracles can happen.

➡️ 4️⃣ Even the worst situations are a valuable lesson. No matter how hard and impossible something may seem, there is always a way out. When things seem unbearable, don't look up at the storm. Look at your feet and make sure every step you've taken is the right one. Fix the wrong ones, and be proud of your achievements and the progress you've made through the years.

➡️ 5️⃣ Appreciate the people you work with. We're not always on the same page, sometimes outside factors come in our way and separate us. But in the end of the day, we remain a TEAM. We discuss our differences and the difficulties we face, we tackle the hard talks, we admit our mistakes, and we find ways to move on and learn from each other.

I'm more than grateful for every person I met during this amazing journey, for every lesson, obstacle, and Mission Impossible I've been given. Watching my team members develop, grow and gain new skills has been one of the most rewarding achievements of my life so far.

I welcome this milestone, and I can't wait to see what's next to come! 🍾
