Back-to-school season is always exciting. There’s a buzz on every campus that feels energizing and promising. At the same time, for my firm and me, it’s a little bittersweet as we say farewell to our awesome summer interns: Charlotte Whitney and Kimiya Torabi who start their third year at University of California, Berkeley, and Zenaida Chapman who will kick off her third year at UCLA with a semester abroad in Spain. Each of them helped in so many ways from preparing approval packages, drafting expert letters and blogposts, assembling (often voluminous) filings, and communicating with clients. We will miss you!
