Nadya Direkova is a design leader with extensive experience in vision, strategy, and rapid prototyping, currently serving as a Design Manager at Google. She previously held positions such as Director of R&D at Airbnb and founded the Sprint Master Academy at Google, renowned for scaling the design sprint methodology across the company and global developer community.

Nadya excels in product vision, strategy development for tech projects, facilitation, cross-functional team leadership, entrepreneurship, project management, rapid prototyping, and user research. She has conducted over 100 design sprints for projects like Google [x] Self-Driving cars, Project Loon, Maps, and Google Ads, as well as for Google Capital's portfolio investments.

Her educational background includes a Master's degree in Comparative Media Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Bachelor's degree with a Media Arts interdisciplinary major and a Political Science double major from Amherst College, and she studied High School at the American College of Sofia.

Throughout her career, Nadya has been associated with organizations such as Google, Airbnb, Decision Theory, X - the moonshot factory, Avenue A Razorfish: Microsoft, Backbone Entertainment, and LeapFrog.
