Founder, Systemic Justice

Nani Jansen Reventlow is an award-winning human rights lawyer with a focus on strategic litigation at the crossroads of human rights, social justice, and technology.

She is the founder of Systemic Justice, pioneering a Black-led, majority BPOC organization in Europe dedicated to reshaping the legal landscape for communities advocating for racial, social, and economic justice.

Nani excels in promoting human rights within the digital sphere and has a proven track record of defending journalists and activists in challenging global environments.

In addition, she established the Digital Freedom Fund to bolster digital rights litigation and drive a decolonization movement in European digital rights advocacy.

Her upcoming book, 'Radical Justice' (Radicale rechtvaardigheid), is set to be released in the Netherlands in October.

Nani pursued her education with an LL.M in Public International Law from Columbia Law School and a background in Civil Law, International & European Law from the University of Amsterdam.

Throughout her career, Nani has been involved with various renowned organizations including the NL Advisory Council on International Affairs, Ashoka, University of Oxford's Blavatnik School of Government, Doughty Street Chambers, Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, Columbia Law School, and Media Legal Defence Initiative among others.
