Many of our families share very fond memories during their interactions with President Halimah – all sharing about how her compassion and love has helped them in their journey to rebuild their lives. They share stories of how she helped them secure their own housing after multiple failed attempts, how she spoke to multiple agencies to provide our caregivers with job opportunities, and how she has inspired our children that they too can succeed in life, regardless of their backgrounds.
As we bid farewell to President Halimah Yacob as our leader, I cannot help but feel a sense of sadness. Her graciousness and love for our families have been a source of inspiration for us all, and we will miss her dearly. Her leadership has been a beacon of hope for many, and her legacy will live on for generations to come.
