In a grand, resplendent hall, immense and wide, with columns strong and stairways side by side, A stage adorned with chandeliers that gleam, I stood in black, a sparkly dream. My body fit, I felt both calm and strong, Orchestrating staff and guests along. I walked among the crowd, a knowing smile, As everything ran smoothly, every mile. The air electric, lively, filled with cheer, I asked the guests to take their seats, draw near. Hundreds filled each space, the venue tight, The lights went out, then flooded stage with light. And there was you, upon a velvet throne, In gold attire, elegance alone. Your long dark hair, your presence soft yet bright, As you began to dance, a graceful flight. Your moves transcended earth, you seemed to soar, A bird in flight, or something even more. The sofa 'neath you lifted, floating high, A magic spell, or dancers' clever ply? The music powerful, it filled the space, Excitement surged, each heart began to race. Mesmerized, the crowd in sheer delight, Ecstatic in the magic of the night. The gala ended, whispers turned to praise, The night, a dream, a perfect, dazzling blaze. You took a propitious bow, elegantly posed, In memories, the evening’s light reposed.
And as I walked away from hall’s embrace, A feeling lingered, time’s own gentle grace. For in that night, a spark of dreams was sown, A future bright, where aspirations shone.
