Highlights
It was really good to participate (once more :-)) in the 13th Economic Forum Offshore Wind conference on the German Island of Heligoland.
At the forum, amongst others, the regulatory framework in Germany was discussed thouroughly. The Vestas message is consistent and clear; we need to reform auctions to stop the race to the bottom with negative bidding, stop the arms race for ever larger turbines, amend the regulatory framework with proven contracts for difference and a level playing field to realise projects fast.
In other words: We need to turn auctions into action!
Many thanks to the WFO (Martin Skiba and jörg Singer) for organising the great event and to all participants and colleagues for the many interesting and enjoyable discussions!

I am very pleased to share that Vestas has secured a firm order intake for a pivotal offshore project - the Nordseecluster A. Kudos to all involved in the team for getting to this stage! Huge thanks to RWE for the great collaboration over several years to make this project happen, our entire team is looking forward to delivering the Nordseecluster.
