Highlights
Thankful to Octane OC for the incredible opportunity to present the journey and impact of Dreams for Schools at last week's Tech Innovation Forum to the business community. We shared our story and the transformative power of our technology exposure programs for the youth in OC. The journey continues! #OCInnovation #TechInnovation #TIF2024 #OCIW2024
Last week, I had the honor of attending the Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove's annual State of the Club luncheon with some of my team, Audrey Auyang and John Stark. It was incredible to look back on the decade-long partnership between BGCGG and Dreams for Schools, from our initial pilots during the idea phase before DFS came to life.
When DFS first started, BGCGG took a chance on our fledgling STEAM education programs and helped pilot them for local youth. Fast forward to today - we now have a pipeline of STEAM programs inspiring the next generation of engineers and technologists. It was an honor to have our partnership highlighted in their 2023 Impact Report.
We’re so grateful for this partnership BGCGG and the team who work tirelessly to uplift young people in our community. A shoutout to the leadership at BGCGG, especially Mark S., Heather White, Christopher Pina who work tirelessly to provide skills and confidence to youth in our community. I'm grateful and proud of the work we're doing together and look forward to continue this meaningful collaboration with BGCGG to uplift youth in the years ahead!
