Pam Daniels is a human-centered designer known for her passion in discovering opportunities and effectively addressing them. She currently serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at Northwestern University's Segal Design Institute and is a Founding Partner at Welcome Industries, a design practice based in Chicago. Pam was the distinguished professor chosen to present 'The Last Lecture' to graduating seniors in Spring 2017, a testament to her commitment to design and education.

With an extensive professional background, Pam has held key positions such as Director at IDEO, a renowned global design and innovation consultancy, and as a Senior Vice President at Starcom MediaVest Group/Leo Burnett in the media communications sector. Additionally, she co-founded DesignHouse Chicago, an initiative focused on leveraging design to revitalize local manufacturing efforts.

Pam Daniels is a sought-after speaker, having presented at prestigious events like Technori, Chicago Ideas Week, ORDcamp, and The International Home & Housewares Show. Her work and insights have been featured in various reputable publications including The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, Core77, Yanko Design, and Business Week. She has a strong belief in expanding access to design and enjoys the dual role of practicing and teaching design.

Having traveled extensively for work, Pam has gained international experience across the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. Her academic achievements include a Master of Science in Product Design & Development from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University, reflecting her dedication to enhancing her skills and knowledge in her field.
