STRETCH OUT YOUR TONGUE A client I worked with last week told me that she has experienced soreness behind her jaw after speaking for long periods. I realized I have to show her how to stretch out her tongue next time we meet. I considered doing a video, but....it looks pretty weird. Basically, push your tongue as far out of your mouth as you can. You will feel a nice stretch at the back of your tongue. It is like any other stretching you do after exercise. It releases tension in your throat very nicely. You can also find other tongue stretching exercises on YouTube. #voice #voicecoach #speaking #speakingskills
