Ban received her Ph.D. in Political Economy and Government from Harvard University in 2018 and a BA in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University in 2012.4 Her current work examines congressional committees, power dynamics within Congress, lobbying, and information dynamics in policy-making.14

She has published research in several prestigious journals, including the American Political Science Review, Quarterly Journal of Political Science, and Legislative Studies Quarterly.2 Ban is also the co-author of a forthcoming book titled "Hearings on the Hill: The Politics of Informing Congress," to be published by Cambridge University Press.5
