As I look out from our window over this high energy zone (the thing that stuck with me most from ecology class, marshes and flood zones are the crucible of regenerative life) I realize today is the official start line for our new project - I will be sharing some progress and some pics. It is fitting that the sun is actually coming out as we have not seen it here for so long -I will take it as a great omen of great things to come. For a little proof of an early spring, the ducks geese and the transient loon arrived on the river- the background you see is the USA and I live in Canada - about 150 meters from the border. Nature holds all the answers we need - are we all ready to listen? Today we start our quest in earnest to produce mobile emergency ready wood gasifiers (biomass) to generate electricity.

Have a great day and please take the time to go for a walk, find a green space and listen. Let me know if you did go for a walk and/or if you would like updates on our journey and shares of our workspace. Our workspace has incredible views, and we get shots of eagles close up, otters, lynx, deer, black bear, moose, beavers, and every bird imaginable - we have created a green space that supports wildlife. Off to work we go.

Thanks everyone it has been a great career in helping professionals in job search and it is now time for us to tackle more pressing needs. It has been a pleasure serving new comers to the country, new grads, budding professionals and seasoned pros over the years. After 37 years of helping professionals land jobs throughout the world and 10 years of partnering with OSPE, we, Navgeet Bajaj, our VP of Operations, and I, decided in October 2023 to start exploring bringing our hobby to production so we can help people secure a power source and food. As of March 2024 we are putting on our baby booties and we hope shortly to securely plant our feet in our tall boots through hard work and perseverance to bring a dependable, resilient and mobile source of power to be used to grow food in controlled environments (indoors).

No matter where you live today you are one climate disaster, war, cyber attack or hack from being able to access power and food plus who knows with the amount of debt carried by the western world if we are close to another financial meltdown.

We are extremely optimistic about a future where people can control their energy supply - electricity, heat, air conditioning from a simple biomass reactor and grow one’s own food in a controlled automated environment. The Canadian solution of toothpicks with wires hanging between them as our power distribution method is flawed as we see time and again they blow down and break under mild storm conditions or they burn and start fires, either way we need something better to bridge public power supply down time.

We have been experimenting with small power plants and in time we will be bringing “power to the people” to production. The best solar panel is simply flora, phytoplankton or a leaf why reinvent the best power source in the world.

Unfortunately we are all one disaster away from being homeless therefore we are building small weather and disaster proof biomass power plants plus mobile gasifiers that can also be used to power any vehicle or power up mobile battery banks on trailers. This is a community based project / we hope it will spread from community to community as resilience is the Canadian way. Our solution is probably not practical for City dwellers however something has to happen in cities as living in tents in Canada as the “new nomads” moving from park to park is not a solution- come on Canada we can do better than that. This is everyone’s problem - if you think you are different or have special powers because you have lots of ducats - good luck with that when there is nothing to buy or rebuild with after a disaster - yes you are one disaster away from being homeless and hungry.

We wish the team at OSPE the best and off we go to help people enjoy a sustainable future secure with unlimited power and fresh home grown food.

Thanks again from both of us for the opportunity to serve you all over the years.

Sincerely, Paul and Nav
