Penny Perka is a dedicated professional with a passion for making a positive impact in the world through education, community engagement, and non-profit work.

She holds a Master's of Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington, a Bachelor's degree from Whitman College, and has also studied at the University of Washington.

Penny has a diverse background with experiences ranging from being an Adjunct Instructor at Everett Community College and Skagit Valley College to serving as the Executive Director at Big Brothers Big Sisters Island County.

Her previous roles include being a Youth and Community Educator at CADA (Citizens Against Domestic & Sexual Abuse), Arts Commissioner at the City of Oak Harbor, WA, and teaching at various institutions like Skagit Valley College, Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme (JET), University of Virginia, and New Mexico State University.

With a strong background in education and community work, Penny Perka continues to seek opportunities to contribute positively to society.
