Peter Gudaitis

Peter B. Gudaitis, M.Div., is a leading practitioner, trainer, strategist, and speaker in disaster and public health emergency management, the faith sector, and community resilience.

With over 20 years of experience, he has led organizations and coalitions through relief operations, managed philanthropic grants and government contracts up to $27M, and focused on sustainable resilience innovations.

Peter has authored FEMA resources, developed technology tools, and been actively involved in the National VOAD movement and various appointed bodies at state and city levels.

He holds a M.Div. in Theology from The General Theological Seminary and a BA in Religion from Kenyon College.

Currently, Peter serves as the Executive Director & CEO at New York Disaster Interfaith Services-NYDIS and has held various leadership positions in organizations like National VOAD and the National Disaster Interfaiths Network.
