Rebecca Cheptegei was doused in petrol and set on fire by her boyfriend. Her murder isn’t a one-off—it’s part of a chilling pattern.
But let’s get specific: ● Not all men drug and rape their wives for over a decade, like Gisèle Pélicot's husband reportedly did. But let’s talk about the ones who do.
● Not all men are strangers who assault, but what about the 90+ men who allegedly raped Gisèle, most living within 1 km of her home?
● Not all men are reckless, but what about those with STDs and HIV who don’t use protection?
● Not all men are the ‘polite’ neighbor hiding behind a smile, but some are.
So, if it's "not all men," why is it so few men speaking up against violence?
