Rachel Banfield is a highly educated individual with a diverse academic background. She also worked as a Research Tutor in Humanitarian Diplomacy at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). Prior to her ICRC roles, Rachel worked at New Zealand Red Cross in advocacy, policy, and research capacities, as well as at Refugees As Survivors NZ (RASNZ), Amnesty International Aotearoa NZ, and the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative in various research and internship roles.
