In her professional journey, Sophie has held roles such as GBV Consultant as an Independent Contractor, Global Protection Advisor at ActionAid, Gender-Based Violence Consultant, and Officer at various organizations including UNICEF Uganda, International Rescue Committee, Youth net and Counselling, and CARE.

Her previous positions involved extensive work in social work practice, policy development, program management, and advisory roles related to child protection, violence against women, juvenile justice, and corrective services.
