Rachel Goodermote is a dedicated Global Health and humanitarian professional with a rich background in project management, capacity building, surveillance, and information management. With a passion for public health interventions, Rachel has extensive experience in emergency response and translating epidemiological and clinical evidence into actionable strategies. Her international work spans across countries like South Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, and Indonesia. Rachel holds a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) with a focus on International Health from the prestigious Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Bates College and completed her high school education at Carrabassett Valley Academy. Rachel's career journey has seen her serve in key roles such as Senior Emergency Health Officer for Risk and Surveillance at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and as a Community Based Surveillance Adviser at IFRC. She has also contributed her expertise as a Migrant Protection and Assistance Information Management Officer, Data Analyst, and Information Management Consultant at IOM - UN Migration. Furthermore, Rachel's professional experience includes roles such as International Public Health and Nutrition Management (I-PHN) Fellow at Action Against Hunger (ACF-USA), Marketing Lead at Arc'teryx Equipment, and Environment and Health Program Support at Physicians for Social Responsibility.
