Highlights
For a long time, I avoided conflict, anxious about disagreement. But I realized that this avoidance came at a cost—I wasn’t effectively addressing issues in my pursuit of conformity. Over time, I’ve learned that others may not share your insights, and they might be right from their perspective. Embracing healthy conflict has since allowed me to make a greater impact at work.
I’m excited to host a roundtable discussion at the ELC (Engineering Leadership Conference) on 08/28 in San Francisco, where we'll explore how embracing healthy conflict can elevate engineering leadership. Breaking the taboo on conflict fosters open dialogue, strengthens collaboration, and drives innovation. Let’s learn to harness positive conflict as a catalyst for growth and better solutions.

Roundtables are one of my favorites in a conference because they create an opportunity to both learn and contribute. Hosted a great discussion at Plato Elevate 2024 with Siraj Memon Patryk Domoracki Chethana Gopinath Victoria Lo Reeba Benzialex Ramya G. Raghavendra Nyamagoudar (L to R in the picture below) on the topic of Mindset & Rituals towards greater productivity.
We explored adapting to different work environments, balancing remote and in-person settings. We emphasized self-care and family time, learning to say no to avoid burnout. Strategies included blocking calendars, giving and receiving feedback, and prioritizing personal goals. Regular reflection, meditation, and finding "me" time were highlighted for maintaining productivity and well-being.
