I came across an interesting article today. https://lnkd.in/gyPyracU
It reminded me of Her, a 2013 movie starring Joaquin Phoenix and Scarlett Johansson. It was a work of fiction then but fast forward 10 years and today it feels more like reality.
As someone at the forefront of AI-driven robotics, I know first-hand how far we’ve come in making machines collaborate as part of a team.
Can employees form an emotional connection to such AI-based teammates? Yes, it is possible when these robots help them stay safe in difficult and dangerous environments, or when AI can be persuasive or even comforting. However, let's not forget—they're still just tools designed to assist, not replace human judgment.
Here’s how we at AvaWatz keep the balance right:
AI is Your Teammate, Not Your Best Friend: Our AI systems are designed to enhance teamwork, not replace the human connection that drives creativity and innovation.
Strengthen Human Bonds: In a world where our robots collaborate seamlessly, we must ensure that human collaboration doesn’t fall by the wayside. Regular team huddles, face-to-face brainstorming sessions, and good old-fashioned conversation are irreplaceable.
Mental Health First: We encourage open dialogue about AI and Robot usage to maintain a healthy relationship with technology.
At the end of the day, while we at AvaWatz are pushing the boundaries of what AI and robotics can do, we also believe in keeping the human touch at the heart of everything we build. After all, the best teams, human or robotic, thrive on trust, communication, and a shared purpose.
