I am happy to announce a significant milestone in my professional journey as I start a new job as Executive Director - Business Strategy Leader at Genentech!
After over two decades in Finance, I have recently made an exciting transition to the field of Business Strategy. While my experience in finance has played a pivotal role in shaping my analytical mindset and strategic thinking, this new chapter allows me to leverage that foundation and further expand my horizons. The fusion of my financial expertise and the dynamic realm of business strategy presents a unique opportunity to deliver innovative solutions, optimize operations, and drive sustainable measures.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with incredible professionals, and I am immensely proud of my learning & achievements in the finance field. I firmly believe that this background will serve as a catalyst, providing me with a distinctive edge in my new role. At heart I am a “finance guy” and not sure if this is a goodbye to finance but more of a new chapter building on the ones before and setting the stage for, who knows, maybe something bigger later on.
It will not be (is not) easy leaving my comfort zone but I am excited about the positive impact I hope I can now bring to both my organization but potentially the industry as a whole.
