Randy Plemel is a seasoned design and innovation consultant, renowned for solving complex problems in user experience, product design, service design, strategy, and environments design.

With a vast experience working with both public and private sectors, Randy has collaborated with prestigious organizations like the Knight Foundation, Bloomberg Philanthropies, AARP, and various others, focusing on democracy promotion, customer relations, and urban development.

Adept at creating new products and services, Randy has worked with diverse clients such as State Farm, Tata, Citibank, and Walgreens on projects ranging from digital tools to retail strategies.

Randy Plemel holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati, and has a rich background contributing to various organizations and educational institutions globally.

His professional journey has seen him in roles such as Design & Innovation Consultant at Expedition Works, Owner of Expedition Works, Part-time Lecturer at The New School, Portfolio Director at IDEO, and Senior Designer at Jordan Parnass Digital Architecture.

Randy's dedication to the field is evident through his teaching experiences, including positions such as Part-time Studio Lecturer at Parsons the New School and Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.

His contributions extend to various architectural firms and humanitarian efforts, having been a Co-founder of Architecture for Humanity New York and serving in roles ranging from Apprentice Architect to Designer in different organizations.
