Ray Minniecon is a respected figure known for his work as Director of Bunji Consultancies, a Coach with Resilient Futures Framework, and a Community Chaplain in the Redfern Community. He is a descendent of the Kabi Kabi and Gurang Gurang nations of South-East Queensland, as well as the South Sea Islander people with connections to Ambrym Island. Ray's diverse roles include being an Advisor to HopeStreet Urban Compassion, a Producer of the NITV documentary 'Searching For God in Australia,' and the Founder and former CEO of Kinchela Boys Home. His contributions extend to roles such as Founding Member of Gawura Aboriginal School, Founder and Chairperson of the Coloured Digger Project Redfern, and Vision Keeper of the World Christian Gathering of Indigenous Peoples. Ray's educational background includes a BA in Theology from Murdoch University in WA, complemented by certificates in Management and Leadership. He has been instrumental in establishing Aboriginal churches and community organizations, serving as the Inaugural Coordinator of the Aboriginal Education Unit at Murdoch University, WA, and as the Former National Manager of World Vision Australia's Indigenous programs. Ray has also held leadership positions such as Former Inaugural Chairperson of the Sydney Anglican Indigenous Peoples Committee and Former Editor-in-Chief of the National Indigenous Leadership Journal. A passionate speaker, Ray engages locally, nationally, and internationally, and has a keen interest in writing, singing, songwriting, music, sport, public speaking, and travel. Beyond his professional endeavors, Ray Minniecon is a devoted family man, being a father, grandfather, and husband.
