Rein Raudjärv is a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in programming. He started his programming journey at a young age, honing his skills on various platforms like ZX Spectrum, Sharp MZ, and Amiga 500. Over the years, Rein has diversified his expertise by self-learning languages such as QBasic, Visual Basic, HTML, PHP, and MySQL.

Rein's official foray into formal computer science education began when he enrolled at the University of Tartu in 2004, focusing on Java. His professional career kicked off at Webmedia (now Nortal), where he quickly progressed to the role of senior JEE developer. During his tenure at Webmedia, Rein contributed to numerous projects, showcasing his proficiency in Java development.

In 2009, Rein transitioned to ZeroTurnaround, where he served as a Software Architect. Subsequently, he joined Taxify (now Bolt) in 2018, seizing the opportunity to enhance his skills in TypeScript and NodeJS. Rein's software development journey has been enriched by his expertise in a wide array of areas, including high-scale backend systems, web applications, desktop applications, APIs, testing frameworks, and more.

With a strong foundation in Windows dating back to version 3.1, Rein diversified his OS experience in 2011 by incorporating Mac OS X into his workflow. Rein's professional specialties extend beyond Java and TypeScript, encompassing a broad spectrum of languages and tools. His experience spans the development of web frameworks, JVM plugins, IDE plugins, Android development tools, parsers, interpreters, and various other software components.

Education-wise, Rein Raudjärv holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Tartu. Throughout his career, Rein has held key positions at notable organizations such as Bolt, ZeroTurnaround, and Nortal, showcasing his adaptability and prowess in the software engineering domain.
