Born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France in 1973, El-Ouazzane graduated from the Grenoble Institute of Technology in 1996 with a degree in semiconductor physics engineering. El-Ouazzane began his professional journey at Texas Instruments in 1997, where he held various positions within the broadband, mobile, and embedded processing sectors. By 2009, he was appointed Vice President and General Manager of the Open Multimedia Applications Platform (OMAP).14
In 2013, he became the CEO of Movidius, focusing on vision-processing technologies for artificial intelligence applications. After Intel acquired Movidius in 2016, he joined Intel's New Technology Group as Vice President and later became Chief Operating Officer of Intel’s Artificial Intelligence Products Group in 2018. By January 2020, he transitioned to Chief Strategy Officer for Intel's Data Platforms Group.124

Throughout his career, El-Ouazzane has been recognized for his contributions to technology and innovation. In 2009, he received the Young Leaders Award from the French-American Foundation.
