Highlights
For those of us who have worked with data, and products that leverage data to deliver value, the constant battle for operationalized data quality is a part of life. This is amplified in the lending space, where lead purchasing, reliance on a disperse set of people to manually enter data, and lack of focused resources result in real business impact.
Our VP of Product, Mike Spotten, has written an intro to the data quality issues we see across our lenders - sharing some real examples & stats, and showing how it impacts marketing and acquisition performance. We hope to continue the "Adventures In Dirty Data" series with more aggregate statistics and advice on where lenders can focus to make the most positive impact.
BTW, all of TrustEngine's Borrower Intelligence Platform customers get a Data Integrity Report with specific ROI-focused advice on data improvement as soon as we receive their data. We've had some great results helping lenders make big data quality improvements.
To improve the #cx of borrowers, we have to understand and improve #loanofficer performance and efficiency.
To that end, I'm excited to share quantitative #uxresearch from our UX Lead Stephen Holloway and Data Analyst Ryan Rawlings that is influencing our product design, and our data / insights / optimization loop.
The work is extensive, based on thousands of interviews done by industry leader Dave Savage over his career, directly measured performance data on 400 Loan Officers on our Borrower Intelligence Platform, and over 50 formal UX interviews done by Stephen since he joined late last year.
The three Loan Officer career tiers that emerged from this research clearly separate disparate and shared needs for our platform, and the correlated data was incredibly interesting to see.
Even if the current observed data attributes don't segment the career tiers into a trimodal distribution as we expected (we see a Pareto-ratio high performers and "the rest"), a definitive strategy emerged on how we can provide value to Loan Officers value at each career stage, and improve lending outcomes and borrower experience as a result.
