An absolute pleasure to have advised the awesome OBRIZUM on their Series A.
Having worked with Chibeza Agley, Jürgen Fink and Sarra Achouri on their previous funding round, it's been incredible to see the journey they've been on, and I'm excited for them to see where they go next 🚀
Congratulations to all of the OBRIZUM team - onwards and upwards!

Recently, a lot of my conversations with investors have revolved around sustainable growth.
The year on year growth expectations remain, but the focus on burn and capital efficiency with metrics like the rule of 40 or capital efficiency (amount raised vs current run rate revenue), are more important than ever.
One metric which I like using to measure growth efficiency is the burn multiple.
This is calculated by taking:
🔥 net burn / 📈 net new ARR
If you're burn multiple is under 1x you're leading the pack, and if it's over 3x you probably need to have a look at your sales team..!
The current market mantra is to grow 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺 at all costs and this is a good metric to calculate to see if you're doing just that.
