Highlights
Here’s a question – should you ever lie to your customers / users? Even with good intentions?
I’m in Edinburgh today and the Balmoral Hotel looks stunning in the sunshine. It’s right by the main railway station and for decades the clock has always been set 5 minutes fast, so people don’t miss their trains. But I wonder how many people, cutting it fine to catch a train, have looked up at the clock and thought “oh no, I’ve run out of time. I’ll never make my train now – I’ll have to catch the next one.”
London looked beautiful in the sunshine yesterday morning as I went to catch up with some old contacts at an HRTech networking breakfast in Waterloo. It was great to meet some amazing people for the first time, all working hard to innovate in the HRTech space, including Sam Cainer, Dan Cohen, Diandra Sovailescu and Keiran Ward. Many thanks to Kalpesh Baxi, Michael Blakley and the team at Equitas and Marie-Caroline Pasquier, Richard South and the team at StackOne for hosting.
