A David & Goliath story! The Carlton Tavern NW6 was bought by a developer in 2015 who bulldozed half of it down without planning permission, wanting to turn it into flats.
6k local Westminster residents objected & the council made the developer rebuild it brick for brick. Normally a fine is handed out so this is a first & NEVER normally happens.
