Robert Gould

Teaching Professor at UCLA

Robert Gould is an experienced data scientist and educator with a background in Mathematics and Statistics.

He is the Lead Principal Investigator (PI) of Mobilize, a National Science Foundation grant aimed at developing data science curriculum for high schools in partnership with LAUSD.

Additionally, Robert Gould is the founder of ASA DataFest, a popular undergraduate data hackathon that promotes hands-on experience and learning in data science.

He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics/Statistics from UC San Diego and a B.S. in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Harvey Mudd College.

Robert has contributed to academia as a Lecturer with Security of Employment at UCLA and previously served as an academic administrator at the same institution.
