Robin Harris

Robin Harris is an accomplished individual with a strong educational background and a wide array of experiences in the field of music, particularly focusing on Ethnomusicology.

Robin holds a PhD in Music with a specialization in Ethnomusicology from the University of Georgia Athens. Prior to this, they completed a Master of Arts in Ethnomusicology from Bethel University and a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Columbia International University. Their Bachelor's degree in Music, Piano Performance, was attained at Biola University.

Throughout their career, Robin has been actively involved in various organizations, holding prestigious positions such as President at the Evangelical Missiological Society and President at the International Council of Ethnodoxologists. They have also served as a Council Member at The Society for Ethnomusicology and as the Director of the Center for Excellence in World Arts at Dallas International University.

Furthermore, Robin has been a key figure in the academic community, having been a Coordinator for the MA in World Arts at Dallas International University and a Co-founder and current President of the Global Ethnodoxology Network. Their vast experience also includes serving as an Arts Consultant for the International Arts Leadership Team at SIL International.

One of Robin's notable specialties is their fluency in Russian, which adds a unique dimension to their skill set and expertise in the field.

Robin Harris' dedication to the study and promotion of music, coupled with their leadership roles in prominent organizations, showcases their commitment to advancing the field of Ethnomusicology and World Arts.
