Robyn Schofield

Associate Professor at University of Melbourne and Director of Environmental Science

Robyn Schofield is a highly accomplished individual with a strong academic background in Environmental Science and Chemistry.

She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Science from the University of Auckland, her Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry from the University of Otago, and also studied at Wairarapa College.

Currently, she holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne, where she previously served as the Director of the Environmental Science Hub, Senior Lecturer of Climate System Science, and Research Fellow.

Robyn has also held various research positions internationally, including as a Marie Curie International Incoming Fellow and Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellow at the Alfred Wegener Institute of Polar and Marine Research AWI, a CIRES Visiting Fellow at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Research Associate in the Chemical Sciences Division at NOAA.

Her diverse academic and professional experiences have uniquely positioned her as a leading expert in environmental science, particularly in the areas of climate system science and polar research.
