This announcement has been a long time coming, but I couldn't be more excited to finally share the launch of our newest sustainability program: The Cox Cleantech Accelerator!
Thrilled to partner with Cox Enterprises and Georgia Cleantech Innovation Hub to bring this first-of-it’s-kind program to Georgia. Through this groundbreaking partnership, we will invest $100k in 5 cleantech startups per cohort, twice per year, and provide coaching, connections, and support to help these startups thrive.
Our newest managing director, Miguel Granier, will join our sustainability team to lead this charge in Atlanta. Welcome to the team, Miguel!
When I started at gener8tor 3 years ago, we didn't have any cleantech programming. This will be our 7th, spread out across the country with different partners and sustainability themes, making us one of the most active early-stage investors in this space.
Truly, I couldn't be more thrilled to continue expanding our sustainability practice and making our accelerators the most sought-after cleantech programs in the country.
A huge thanks to everyone involved in making this a reality. Special shoutouts to Morgan (Walsh) Phillips from Cox, Andy Marshall from the Hub, and everyone who helped support along the way (Dexter A., Brendan Barry, Prentice Keller, Jonathan Siskin, Bernie Burgener, Jennifer Singh, Tim Howe, among countless others). Your commitment to making this a reality has been invaluable.
