I am over the influx of safe, boring and soulless work, with project managers and sales people too often trying to take control of the most important creative decisions. We really need to start giving creatives their autonomy back and allow them the space and freedom to shine!

A recent study from McKinsey showed that businesses that indexed in the top quartile of creativity outperformed other firms across several metrics, including organic revenue growth, shareholder returns and net enterprise value by at least 64%.

So to all those metric obsessed individuals, giving the power back to the creatives (and also not treating them like second-class citizens) will absolutely benefit your bottom line!

Thanks to Wes Morton for the interview. You can read The Drum article on ‘The Secret Guide To Creative Excellence’ featuring myself, Brett Brown , Adam Flanagan and George Tannenbaum here: https://lnkd.in/e8sKc8QT
