Saeju Jeong, born in South Korea into a family of doctors, discovered his passion for helping others and innovation early in life.

With a background in electrical and electronics engineering from Hongik University, Saeju Jeong founded South Korea's first heavy metal e-commerce business before a poignant moment shifted his focus towards preventative healthcare.

In 2008, Saeju co-founded Noom in the United States with Artem Petakov, aiming to promote healthier living and pioneering a behavior change platform in consumer healthcare.

As CEO for 17 years, Saeju Jeong steered Noom to secure substantial investments, develop programs for weight management, obesity care, diabetes, and stress management, impacting millions globally.

His leadership garnered recognition through accolades like EY's Entrepreneur of the Year, Harvard Business School's Entrepreneurial Company of the Year, and features in prominent media outlets.

Saeju Jeong transitioned to the role of Executive Chairman at Noom in July 2023, driving the company's vision and strategy.

He has been actively involved in various organizations, including United Korean Founders, Inc., the Center for American Entrepreneurship, and the World Economic Forum.
