Highlights
I still love classic strategy frameworks.
Playing To Win, PESTLE analysis, Porter's Five Forces, Helmer's 7 Powers. Fun stuff.
But they're pretty problematic. They're designed for growth in an era that demands #degrowth, and competition in an era that demands #collaboration.
I'm curious—do they still have a role in how we think about strategy in the modern world? Can we integrate them with ideas like #regeneration or #doughnuteconomics? Or do I have to find a different tool, no matter how much I like them?
After a mammoth two month break, I'm excited to be back in the saddle and kicking into 2023 with all my friends at Today.
On that topic, we're looking for new friends to join us. If you love using your creativity to make positive impact in the world, please have a squiz at the roles we're hiring for and get in touch! ✌️
