If you don’t know what you want... you probably won’t get it. Sounds basic, but it’s one of those hard truths that a lot of us don’t take the time to acknowledge. I speak from the experience of coaching hundreds of (often very ambitious and high achieving) individuals over the last 12 years. So many of them are doing great, as defined by the conventional external markers of “success”, but aren’t actually fulfilled. They often feel like something is missing. Typically, in our work together, we quickly identify that missing ingredient: their desires. As in their actual, true, deep desires. They simply don’t know what they want, so they’ve been chasing what they thought they should want. When someone starts to identify their unique and authentic desires, magic happens. They light up! They feel motivated! They become energized! I’ve seen it a million times. It’s the coolest thing. But how the heck do we actually go about figuring out what we want? That’s what episode 42 is about 🎙️ I share some of my favorite quick tips for discovering those deep desires.

Last month I designed a challenge for myself: The 30-day Bold Ask Challenge 💥 It was a way for me to practice getting better at handling rejection, asking for what I want, and getting out of my comfort zone. I was documenting the whole thing on social media, and to my great delight, several others in my audience jumped in and started their own version of the challenge. Since many of you have been asking, here’s a recap of how it all went in this week’s episode of Oh, Hi Self 🎙️ Listen here: https://lnkd.in/gwNtnE9h
