Highlights
🎉 Today, I have very meaningful news! We're thrilled to announce that Momentum.io has closed a $13M Series A round led by FirstMark and Stage 2 Capital, with continued support from our fantastic seed investors, including Basis Set and Leadout Capital.
This milestone is more than just money—it's validation. In 2024, excitement and validation are hard to come by, and it means a lot to us founders! The excitement and belief we received during this round will help us push harder than ever toward this incredible vision we’ve been lucky enough to identify.
Momentum started at our kitchen tables during the pandemic. Fast-forward to today and we've built a platform that leverages AI and automation to transform how revenue teams leverage every customer email and call they take every day.
From summarizing recorded calls to automatically identifying churn signals in the words of your own customers, our tools have helped companies like 1Password, Ramp, ZScaler, Yipitdata, Alation, Demandbase, and Owner.com achieve remarkable results.
Building this with Ashley and Moiz has been so exhilarating. This is supposed to be hard, but it doesn’t feel like it most of the time. A special shoutout to Amish and Mandy for joining our board, as well as David and Anubhav, who are now part of this journey. Their expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow.
One last huge THANK YOU to our existing investors who have trusted us with their money and time. Particularly Lan, Sheila, Alison, Steve, and Francoise.
Thank you for being part of our story. Here's to the future! 🚀

There's a lesson in every failure, a hidden path to growth that's hard to see when you're standing in complete disappointment. I learned this the hard way through an experience that, at the time, felt like the ultimate failure.
About a year into a past venture, Blameless, a project I had poured my heart and soul into, I faced a situation I never thought could happen. My co-founders decided to push me out. It was a decision that left me questioning my capabilities and my self-worth. The sting of being sidelined from something I helped create was intense, a mixture of betrayal, loss, and a profound sense of failure.
In the immediate aftermath, it was hard to see much beyond negative emotions, to let the hurt define me, or to let pride push me to get back on the horse too soon. But as time passed, a different perspective began to take shape. The failure, as painful as it was, forced me to re-commit towards entrepreneurship.
Looking back, I see how that challenging period was a catalyst for personal growth. It pushed me to dig deeper into my resilience, to care less about failure and what opinions of me it drives in others. It opened doors I didn’t expect, led me to opportunities I wouldn't have otherwise found, and ultimately paved the way for creating Momentum.io.
So, to anyone facing their own version of failure, it's okay to feel the hurt, but don't dwell on it for too long. There's growth in failure, and if you can lift your chin and look forward, new paths will open sooner than you know it.
