Sara Baker is a highly accomplished professional known for her roles in the legislative and policy arena. As the Legislative and Policy Director for the ACLU of Missouri and the Chief Innovation Officer for FastDemocracy, she holds significant responsibilities in under the dome strategy, electoral initiatives, organizing, and communications. Sara has a remarkable track record in tracking legislation, presenting testimonies, and forming strategic partnerships with various organizations to influence political decisions.

With a background as the Special Projects Manager and Stephen M. Rivers Memorial Fellow at the Center for Democracy in the Americas in Washington D.C., Sara conducted extensive research on women's roles in Cuba's economy and collaborated with congressional delegations. Her thesis on the civil-military relationship in post-Castro Cuba was published on a prominent platform.

Sara Baker's educational journey includes a MA in International Affairs and a B.A. in International and Area Studies and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis. Additionally, she studied Portuguese at the Olinda Portuguese Language School and completed courses at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Parkway West High School.

Throughout her career, Sara has been associated with prestigious organizations such as ACLU of Missouri, FastDemocracy, Washington University in St. Louis, American Association of University Women, Sigma Iota Rho, Big Brothers Big Sisters, among others. Her professional experience spans across policy direction, innovation, research, and advocacy, making her a versatile and influential figure in the realm of legislative affairs.
