Scott Hajost is a seasoned expert in international conservation and environmental law and policy, boasting over 30 years of experience. With a background in international law, Scott has held various significant roles in government agencies, NGOs, and non-profits.

His career highlights include serving as a treaty negotiator at the US State Department, where he handled wildlife conservation, oceans, environment, and polar affairs. Scott also played pivotal roles at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

Currently, Scott holds the position of Managing Director of the Global Wildlife Whistleblower Program at the National Whistleblower Center and is a Senior Strategic Adviser at the Natural Heritage Institute. He actively contributes to several organizations and committees focusing on environmental governance, biodiversity, climate change, and marine conservation.

Scott's extensive educational background includes a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Toledo College of Law, where he graduated first in his class and received the Dean's award for outstanding graduate. He also studied International Law at The Hague Academy of International Law and History at Miami University and The University of Dallas.
