A month ago I became more public with my #OpenToWork job search and I am incredibly appreciative of the support that many people have shown during this time🙏🏼.

There are too many people to attempt to tag in one post but thank you to my supportive supervisor, my respectful colleagues, friends and family who have sent job postings, networked on my behalf in rooms I’m not yet in, and/or referred me to search firms.

Over this time, I’ve quantified my #jobsearch to date:

  • Applied to 60+ jobs (and counting🔄) in higher ed/college admissions, high schools, charter schools, education non-profits, EdTech, community based orgs…

    • 30 apps are active, no word yet (+ or -)
  • Interviewed for 5 roles

  • Finalist or Semi-Finalist for 2 roles

  • 2️⃣5️⃣ “we’ve decided to move forward with other candidates” — call them redirects to the right opportunities

  • 3 informational chats💬

I am still a #jobseeker looking for roles in higher education/college admissions, secondary education, community based orgs, non-profits, or EdTech. Open to opportunities that are in-person in Dallas-Fort Worth area or remote/work from home.

If you know someone I should know, let’s connect!

If you have a job opening, send it over📥!

If you are a fellow job seeker, connect with me and let me know how I can support you🤝. I do not list this search alone and hopeful that you know you’re not alone in your search either—whatever your search has been like, let’s rise together!
