Shannon Vavra is an award-winning national security reporter with a keen focus on the politics and consequences of various wars, particularly Russia's actions in Ukraine, Israel versus Hamas, and China's aggressive stance towards Taiwan. With a background as the National Security Reporter at The Daily Beast and prior roles covering NSA, Cyber Command, and espionage at CyberScoop, Shannon brings a wealth of experience to her reporting.
