VHacks 2018 invited 120 participants from all over the world to the Vatican for a week of human-centered technological innovation. After months of hard work, it was incredibly rewarding to watch such talented students with different backgrounds and perspectives work together to address problems that they have all experienced or witnessed in different capacities. VHacks is making history and I'm honored to have been on the organizing team for such an event!

A big shout-out to my teammates (most of whom were college and business school students) for their dedication - working before classes, after classes and often times during classes was not easy, but we did it! Thank you to Major League Hacking for your guidance and support both before and during the event. It's been a pleasure!

"ROME—Barely 100 yards away from a statue of Giordano Bruno, the freethinking friar who was burned at the stake in 1600 after the Catholic Church found him guilty of heresy, some of the world’s brightest young people gathered earlier this month for the opening of an unprecedented event: a hackathon convened by the Vatican."
