Highlights
As founders, we can choose to flip the script every so often. Earlier this month, many social impact leaders headed to Skoll World Forum and related events - as co-founder Sindhuja Jeyabal and I have done for the past 5 years. This year, we decided to flip the script. Sindhuja and I held a retreat in Jaipur for our incredible team to gather, reflect and dream. This was followed by user research, focus groups and experimentation led by Sindhuja across India. Meanwhile Aronee Ghosh - who runs our operations and research from Delhi and Kolkota for the past 4 years - headed to Oxford. By perspective taking for each other, we learned so much. Often, rising leaders like Aronee don't attend events like Skoll, because of visa issues, cost constraints, and so on - but sometimes, it's simply because no one thought about it. At Dost, we are thinking about how to expand experiences and opportunities beyond the norm to everyone on our team. This year, we're pushing ourselves to create more spaces that have the magic and exposure of Skoll - from Jaipur to Oxford. So the next time you're doing something again for the 7th time, consider... flipping the script. :) #skollworldforum #retreat #leadership
